3-piece guitar, bass and drums stage plot
A compact stage plan for a power trio with lead vocal, backing vocal, two amps and three monitor positions.
Stage layout
Keep the drum kit centred upstage, with guitar and bass amps behind their players rather than directly behind vocal microphones. Guitar/vocal and bass/vocal positions sit downstage left and right, leaving a clear centre path for load-in and drum access.

Monitor plan
Three mixes are ideal when available: one for each front-line player and one for the drummer. On smaller systems, the two front positions can share a mix if both musicians are comfortable with the same balance.
Why this works: the plot communicates positions and signal flow without prescribing a particular house microphone model.
